Rebecca Lewis

Occupational Therapist

Rebecca is a Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist and qualified teacher with a specialism in developmental trauma, attachment, sensory processing, emotional regulation, and executive function. She brings two decades of experience working with children across a variety of clinical settings, including the NHS, charitable organizations, private providers, and education. Starting her career as an occupational therapist, she has worked within community CAMHS services, secure CAMHS settings and perinatal mental health.

Throughout her journey, Rebecca has held both clinical and leadership roles, gaining valuable insights into the broader systems affecting children and families. In 2019, she undertook a PGCert in Education. As a qualified teacher, Rebecca rapidly developed a focus on Special Educational Needs (SEN) within mainstream classrooms and experienced first-hand the importance of individualised approaches to ensuring children thrive within their key occupations of learning and play.

Returning to occupational therapy practice, Rebecca recently joined Channels and Choices and is currently developing the occupational therapy offer within the community. In addition to her core professional training, Rebecca is trained in solution focused therapy, systemic practice (PGCert), and has completed Sensory Integration module 1.
