Pamela Hunt

I have been working as a Speech & Language Therapist for 20 years, supporting children with a wide variety of speech, language and communication needs in mainstream and specialist education and community clinic.

I have an interest in the assessment and therapeutic intervention of language needs in autistic children and take a neuro-divergent affirming approach to working with these children.

I work within Channels & Choices to support the identification of speech, language and communication needs and devise therapy plans to support children to develop skills to enable them to advocate for themselves. Teamwork is an important part of what I do and I liaise with all adults working with the child.  I work closely with Louise and Jessie, Therapy Assistants who support in the delivery of interventions.”
