School Administrator

Salary £17,500 to £20,000 on a pro-rata basis.

Full Time: 37.5 hours per week, (hours of work will be 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday). This post is term-time only plus 10 days during holidays to be agreed by school.

The Sallygate School is an independent ESBD School for students aged 8-17.  The Sallygate School is part of Channels and Choices which is a Therapeutic Residential & Fostering Service for young people.  All of our students are currently Children in Care. Recently rated as Good with Outstanding features by OFSTED.

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, well organised, reliable, and highly skilled Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for school administration and reception.

Reporting directly to the school leadership, you will ensure an efficient, accurate and timely administrative service is provided to school. It is essential that you have a proficient knowledge of IT, including Microsoft Office and you will have a current First-Aid certificate or be willing to train for one.

The ideal candidate will be educated to at least GCSE level or equivalent in English and maths, should be able to show experience of working in a similar environment/role and able to establish good relationships with staff, students and the wider Channels and Choices community. Relevant work related qualifications are desirable.
