Who We Support

Our residential homes provide therapeutic care for children aged 8–17 with complex social, emotional and mental health needs, including:

  • Attachment difficulties and trauma histories
  • Emotional regulation challenges
  • Complex behavioural presentations
  • History of placement breakdown
  • Educational disengagement or exclusion
  • Needs requiring therapeutic intervention

We welcome referrals for children who need a stable, therapeutic environment with high staffing ratios and integrated access to education and therapy services.

Our Referral Process

A straightforward, responsive approach to placement matching.

1

Initial Contact

Contact our referrals team by phone or email with basic information about the child’s needs. We’ll confirm availability and discuss suitability in principle.

2

Referral Documentation

Submit full referral information including care plan, risk assessments, medical and education history, and any relevant reports. We aim to respond within 48 hours.

3

Impact Assessment

Our team reviews the referral to ensure we can meet the child’s needs and assess compatibility with existing residents and home dynamics.

4

Planning Meeting

Meet with the child, social worker and family to discuss the placement, answer questions and ensure everyone is informed and comfortable with next steps.

5

Transition and Admission

Implement a carefully planned transition with pre-placement visits, introductions to staff and a phased move-in process tailored to the child’s needs.

What Happens After Admission?

Initial assessment (first 28 days): Comprehensive assessment of needs, strengths and goals to inform the child’s personalised care and therapeutic plan.

Regular reviews: Monthly key worker sessions, statutory reviews and ongoing monitoring of progress against agreed outcomes.

Transparent communication: Daily logs, weekly updates and immediate contact for significant incidents or concerns.

Education and therapy integration: Access to our specialist school and clinical team, with coordinated planning across all services.

Transition planning: From day one, we work towards the child’s long-term goals, whether that’s family reunification, foster care or independent living.
